After rolling his guitar amp across 13 states over a decade of rock band performances, singer/guitarist Don Andreas said goodbye to the light shows and fog machines to return to simpler times, where an acoustic guitar and raw talent still shine.

Bothered by the artsy-folk stereotype, the Lehigh Valley musician set off to reinvent the acoustic performer in 2004. “I believe in my heart,” explained Andreas, “that pop music has a place in the lounges and restaurant pubs of the Lehigh Valley. Just because you’ve grown tired of smoky nightclubs and blaring sound systems doesn’t mean you’ve grown tired of the music”.

And it’s paying off! Andreas can see and hear the approval of his fans, singing along, louder and louder to the hits of the 80’s, 90’s and today as the nights pass on.

“It’s an exciting time for me,” he admits. “People are really starting to see that they can still let loose to pop music in a more relaxing environment… Who knew?”
